Market Mondays 3! Horror Movies

Yes, I know it's Tuesday, but I worked on Monday, so this is going up a day late.

Do any of you watch horror movies as much as I do? I finally got around to watching Cabin in the Woods today, and as I was watching it, I was thinking to myself how it would have been so much better if I could actually see what was going on. I realized that that's a problem with me with almost all scary movies. I know that they make them dark to set the scene and the mood, but does that really matter when you have to tell the store by texture? There was one scene where I literally only realized the character was dying because there was a shiny pool covering the screen slowly that I deciphered was supposed to be blood. Now, I know that if I reset setting on my television, close the blinds, and turn off all the lights, the picture will be more visible and such, but still. That seems silly to me to have to change everything around based on what genre movie I'm watching.
Does this problem pose itself to anyone other than me? No?

Market Mondays 2! Bathroom Drawer Organization Issues!

I'm a big advocate of meticulously organizing every shelf, cabinet, and drawer possible, but I have two drawers that I can not for the life of me get to the point where they're actually useful. My bathroom sink vanity has an undersink cabinet and two drawers, one shallow, one deep. I've filled and refilled these drawers over and over again, and it seems no matter how I organize or what I put in there, I am not using them to the best of their potential.

Right now the bottom drawer, the deeper of the two, is housing the majority of my hair tools collection. Over the years I've collected an insane amount of brushes, combs, straighteners, curlers, and even crimpers. I have my favorite straightener, favorite curler, and my pmd in a small box in the front half of the drawer, and the rest are just tossed haphazardly in the back. This has stayed this way for a while, and it works well enough, but I just don't love it. I kind of hate it actually, but since it seems to work okay, I haven't bothered with reorganizing it in a while.

The top shallow drawer, however, is currently the bane of my existence. I have an acrylic drawer divider that fits pretty perfectly in the front, but I have no idea what to put in this drawer! I have a very random assortment of Crest Whitestrips, chapsticks, shower caps, Clarisonic replacement heads, product samples, and so many other things just thrown in there with no rhyme or reason to it at all. It makes me crazy, because I would really like to have this be a useful storage area for things that I use on a regular basis.

How do you all fill and organize your bathroom sink vanity drawers? I clearly need help in this area, so please, send me ideas!
